These are prints of a female wolf skull with red poppies, one coming out of her eye, symbolizing her being killed due to livestock attacks on public land. It was reported that they mistakenly killed the collared and presumed pregnant breeding female of the Bear Canyon Mexican gray wolf pack. The fifth one since 11 were reintroduced last spring. The wolf, AF 1823, was named Asiza and was seven years old. She leaves behind six family members, including her mate and children.
